     Sophie Eleonore von Hessen-Darmstadt was born on 7 January 1634 at Darmstadt, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Georg II Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt and Sophie Eleanor von Sachsen.¹ She married Wilhelm Christoph Prinz von Hessen-Homburg, son of Friedrich I Landgraf von Hessen-Homburg and Margaret Elisabeth Gräfin von Leiningen-Westerburg, on 21 April 1650.¹ She died on 7 October 1663 at age 29 at Echzell, Germany.¹

     William Garrow Lettsom was born in March 1805 at Fulham, London, England.¹ He was the son of Samuel Fothergill Lettsom and Eliza Sophia Garrow.¹ He died on 14 December 1887 at age 82 at 142 Norwood Road, Norwood, Surrey, England, unmarried.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Astronomical Society (F.R.A.S.) in 1849.¹

     Thomas Strangman was born on 2 February 1708 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Joshua Strangman and Hannah Pearce.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Forbes at Ireland.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hutchinson, daughter of James Hutchinson and Ann Duckett, on 29 September 1731.¹ He died on 28 January 1787 at age 78 at County Waterford, Ireland.¹
