     Lt.-Col. Christopher James York Dallmeyer was born on 27 March 1907 at York, Yorkshire, England.² He was the son of Richard Owen John Dallmeyer and Helen Cowan Menzies.^1,2 He married Hon. Ursula Nina Balfour, daughter of Patrick Balfour, 2nd Baron Kinross and Caroline Elsie Johnstone-Douglas, on 14 September 1939.¹ He died on 20 October 1996 at age 89 at Tyninghame, East Lothian, Scotland.²
     He fought in the Second World War, in France, and North-West Europe.² He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Lothian and Border Horse Yeomanry.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹

     Roderick William Nicolson married Kathleen Bridget Kindersley, daughter of Major Guy Molesworth Kindersley and Kathleen Agnes Rhoda Elton, on 10 June 1931.²
