     Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce was born in November 1748 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of William Dingwall and Jean Fordyce.¹ He married Elizabeth Douglass, daughter of John Douglass, 11th of Tilwhilly and Mary Arbuthnott, on 28 September 1780 at Inchmarlo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He died on 3 July 1796 at age 47 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Elizabeth Douglass was born at Tilwhilly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of John Douglass, 11th of Tilwhilly and Mary Arbuthnott.¹ She married Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce, son of William Dingwall and Jean Fordyce, on 28 September 1780 at Inchmarlo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ She died on 9 May 1813 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹
     From 28 September 1780, her married name became Dingwall-Fordyce.¹

     John Douglass, 11th of Tilwhilly was born circa 1709 at Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He married Mary Arbuthnott, daughter of Hon. John Arbuthnott and Margaret Falconer, on 17 June 1736 at Banchory-Ternan, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹ He died on 18 January 1791 at Glasgow, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Mary Arbuthnott was born on 13 August 1706 at Fordoun, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. John Arbuthnott and Margaret Falconer.¹ She married John Douglass, 11th of Tilwhilly on 17 June 1736 at Banchory-Ternan, Kincardineshire, Scotland.¹ She died on 25 May 1783 at age 76 at Inchmarlo, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹
     From 17 June 1736, her married name became Douglass.¹

     William Dingwall-Fordyce was baptised on 12 January 1745 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of William Dingwall and Jean Fordyce.¹

     Jean Dingwall-Fordyce was baptised on 26 April 1772 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Dingwall-Fordyce and Janet Morison.¹ She died in 1773 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹
