     Arthur Aston Talbot was born on 5 March 1881.1 He was the son of Colonel Hervey Arthur Talbot and Eva Julietta Crawshay.1 He married Mary Winifred Battiscombe, daughter of A. Battiscombe, on 13 April 1912.1 He died on 29 October 1918 at age 37 at East Africa, on active service.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Suffolk Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.2
