     Friedrich II Hermann Johann Georg Fürst zu Solms-Baruth was born on 24 June 1853 at Berlin, Germany.1 He was the son of Friedrich Hermann Carl Adolph Fürst zu Solms-Baruth and Roza Teleki de Szék.1 He married Ida Louise Gräfin von Hochberg, daughter of Hans Heinrich XI Prinz von Pless and Maria Gräfin von Kleist, on 10 September 1881.1 He died on 31 December 1920 at age 67 at Klitschdorf, Germany.1
     He gained the title of 2.Fürst zu Solms-Baruth in 1904.
