David Sassoon1

David Sassoon and his sons 2
     David Sassoon was born in 1792 at Bagdad, Iraq.1 He married, firstly, Hannah Joseph, daughter of Abdullah Joseph.1 He married, secondly, Farhah Hyeem, daughter of Furraj Hyeem, in 1828.1 He died on 5 November 1864 at Poonah, India.1
     He was founder of David Sassoon & Company at Bombay, India.1
