John Walter Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 2nd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu and Alice Pearl Crake, in 1974.1 She died on 14 May 2023 at age 79.3
     From 1974, her married name became Douglas-Scott-Montagu. After her marriage, Fiona Margaret Herbert was styled as Baroness Montagu of Beaulieu in 1974.

     Walter Scott of Harden is the son of Walter Scott of Harden and Unknown Wife (?)2 He married by contract, firstly, Mary Scott, daughter of John Scott of Dryhope, on 21 March 1567.3 He married by contract, secondly, Margaret Edgar, daughter of John Edgar, on 9 April 1598.2,3 He died in June 1631.2
     He was prominent in border warfare.3 Walter Scott of Harden also went by the nick-name of 'Auld Watt'.2
