     Elizabeth Home was born in 1681. She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Home, 1st Bt. and Agnes Margaret Scott.1 She married John Stirling, son of Sir George Stirling, 1st Bt. and Marjorie Purves, in February 1700/1.1 She died in 1716.
     From February 1701, her married name became Stirling.1

     Sir Alexander Stirling, 4th Bt. was born in 1715. He was the son of John Stirling and Elizabeth Home.1 He married Mary Willis, daughter of Robert Willis.2 He died on 22 February 1791.2
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Stirling, of Glorat, co. Stirling [N.S., 1666] on 30 April 1771.2
