     Dr. Gerald Edward Aylmer was born on 30 April 1926.1 He was the son of Captain Edward Arthur Aylmer and Gwladys Phoebe Evans.1 He married Ursula Adelaide Nixon, daughter of Major Brian George Michael Frederick Nixon, on 6 August 1955.1 He died on 17 December 2000 at age 74 at Oxfordshire, England.2
     He adopted Thomas Bartholomew Aylmer.
