Margaret Branthwaite1

     Margaret Branthwaite was the daughter of Richard Branthwaite.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Spencer, 1st Bt., son of Sir William Spencer and Margaret Bowyer.1 She married, secondly, Richard Butler, 3rd Viscount Mountgarret, son of Edmund Butler, 2nd Viscount Mountgarret and Grizel FitzPatrick, before 23 July 1631.1 She died on 16 December 1655.1 She died on 16 December 1655.2
     Her married name became Spencer.1 After her marriage, Margaret Branthwaite was styled as Viscountess Mountgarret before 23 July 1631. From before 23 July 1631, her married name became Butler.1
