Sir Thomas Brodrick was born on 4 August 1654.1 He was the son of Sir St. John Brodrick and Alice Clayton.1 He married Anne Pigott, daughter of Alexander Pigott.1 He died on 3 October 1730 at age 76, without issue.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cork [Ireland] in 1703.1 He was Joint Comptroller of the Army Accounts in 1708.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stockbridge in 1713.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1714.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford in 1722.1 He lived at Ballyanan Castle, Midleton, County Cork, Ireland.1
