     Sarah Anstey was born in 1762.1 She was the daughter of Christopher Anstey and Anne Calvert.1 She married Admiral Thomas Sotheby, son of Colonel William Sotheby and Elizabeth Sloane, in 1788.2 She died in 1802.1
     From 1788, her married name became Sotheby.1
