     Frances Wilson was the daughter of Charles Wilson.1 She married Sir George Smyth Powell, son of Reverend Baden Powell and Henrietta Grace Smyth, on 8 April 1893.1 She died on 29 October 1913.1
     From 8 April 1893, her married name became Powell.1

     Donald Ferlys Wilson Baden-Powell was born on 5 October 1897.1 He is the son of Sir George Smyth Powell and Frances Wilson.1 He married Muriel Jane Thomson Duncan, daughter of James Duncan, on 25 October 1924.1
     He was given the name of Donald Ferlys Wilson Powell at birth.1 On 30 April 1902 his name was legally changed to Donald Ferlys Wilson Baden-Powell by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in 1916 in the Royal Naval Air Service.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1917 in the Rifle Brigade.1 He was educated in 1917 at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1925 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He was a geologist.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1939 in the Royal Observer Corps.1
