John William Mansfield, 3rd Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst was born on 10 July 1857.1 He was the son of William Rose Mansfield, 1st Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Margaret Fellowes.1 He married Edith Mary Higson, daughter of John Higson, on 11 September 1888.1 He died on 6 January 1933 at age 75.
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He was Legal Chancery Visitor of Lunatics between 1910 and 1928.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst, co. Berks [U.K., 1871] on 2 November 1921.1

Edith Mary Higson was the daughter of John Higson. She married John William Mansfield, 3rd Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst, son of William Rose Mansfield, 1st Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Margaret Fellowes, on 11 September 1888.1 She died on 1 November 1939.1
Her married name became Mansfield. After her marriage, Edith Mary Higson was styled as Baroness Sandhurst of Sandhurst on 2 November 1921.

Ralph Sheldon Mansfield, 4th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst was born on 19 July 1892.1 He was the son of John William Mansfield, 3rd Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Edith Mary Higson.2 He married Morley Victoria Upcher, daughter of Edward Berners Upcher, on 8 February 1917.1 He died on 28 October 1964 at age 72.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1914 in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He gained the rank of Captain.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst, co. Berks [U.K., 1871] on 6 January 1933.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Signals.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was with MI5.1 He was chairman of British Road Federation between 1946 and 1954.1 He was president of Hatch Mansfield & Company.1

Morley Victoria Upcher was the daughter of Edward Berners Upcher.1 She married Ralph Sheldon Mansfield, 4th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst, son of John William Mansfield, 3rd Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Edith Mary Higson, on 8 February 1917.1 She died on 17 June 1961.1

Valerie Mansfield was born on 25 December 1918.2 She was the daughter of Ralph Sheldon Mansfield, 4th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Morley Victoria Upcher.1,2 She married George Roger Alexander Thomas Parker, 8th Earl of Macclesfield, son of George Loveden William Henry Parker, 7th Earl of Macclesfield and Lilian Joanna Vere Boyle, on 18 June 1938.1 She died in June 1995 at age 76.1
Her married name became Parker. After her marriage, Hon. Valerie Mansfield was styled as Countess of Macclesfield on 20 September 1975.

John Edward Terence Mansfield, 5th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst was born on 4 September 1920.1 He was the son of Ralph Sheldon Mansfield, 4th Baron Sandhurst of Sandhurst and Morley Victoria Upcher.1 He married, firstly, Priscilla Ann Johnson, daughter of J. Fielder Johnson, on 7 November 1942.1 He and Priscilla Ann Johnson were divorced in 1946.1 He married, secondly, Janet Mary Lloyd, daughter of John Edward Lloyd, on 3 April 1947.1 He died on 2 June 2002 at age 81.1
