Hugo Mascie-Taylor was born circa 1870.2 He was the son of Mascie Henry Taylor and Frances Anne Schmidt.1 He married Madeline Josephine de Courcy McCalmont, daughter of Colonel Barklie Cairns McCalmont and Catherine Madeline de Courcy Stretton, in 1911 at London, England.1 He married an unknown person in a Captain marriage, Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He died on 9 August 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.2
