Bertha Blain Haughton1

     Bertha Blain Haughton was the daughter of David Haughton and Adelaide Tyrell.2 She married Sir Arthur Joseph Atkinson, son of Joseph Atkinson, on 2 April 1891.1 She died in 1948.1
     She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 From 2 April 1891, her married name became Atkinson.

     Sir Arthur Joseph Atkinson was the son of Joseph Atkinson.2 He married Bertha Blain Haughton, daughter of David Haughton and Adelaide Tyrell, on 2 April 1891.1 He died on 17 February 1959.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Ferriby Lodge, North Ferriby, Yorkshire, England.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1
