Crosbie Charles Harvey was born on 26 October 1872.1 He was the son of Crosbie William Harvey and Elizabeth Mary Anne Walker.2 He married Augustine Anne Leigh, daughter of Francis Leigh, in 1927.1 He died on 6 February 1959 at age 86.1
He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Lumsden's Horse.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Waterford Royal Garrison Artillery.1 He lived at Broomley House, Kyle, County Wexford, Ireland.1
