     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Major Sir Cecil Edward Walker, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 August 1882.¹ He is the son of Sir Samuel Walker, 1st Bt. and Eleanor MacLaughlin.² He married Violet McMaster, daughter of Hugh Dunbar McMaster, on 22 October 1924.¹ He died on 2 July 1964 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Walker, of Pembroke House, Dublin [U.K., 1906] on 22 November 1932.¹

     Ina Eleanor Walker was born on 3 December 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Samuel Walker, 1st Bt. and Eleanor MacLaughlin.² She married Lieutenant Charles William Sheridan, son of Charles William Sheridan, on 18 February 1911.¹
     From 18 February 1911, her married name became Sheridan.
