Sir Peter Carlaw Walker, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 May 1854.2 He is the son of Sir Andrew Barclay Walker, 1st Bt. and Eliza Reid.2 He married Ethel Blanche Okeover, daughter of Haughton Charles Okeover and Hon. Eliza Anne Cavendish, on 30 May 1899.1 He died on 18 October 1915 at age 61.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Walker, of Gateacre, co. Lancaster and Osmaston Manor, co. Derby [U.K., 1886] on 27 February 1893.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1896.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Derbyshire Yeomanry.2
