Sir Roger Okeover was the son of John Okeover and Margaret Fitzherbert.2,1 He married Christian de Atlow, daughter of Engelhard de Atlow.1 He died before April 1338.1
In 1293 he was under age.1 In 1322 he took part in the rebellion of Earl of Lancaster and had to compound for his estates with Hugh le Despenser, Earl of Winchester.1 He was one of the knights of Staffordshire summoned to attend the King on his expedition to Guienne in 1324.1 He was Commissioner of Array for Derbyshire for the Scottish campaigns between 1333 and 1335.1 He lived at Okeover, Staffordshire, England.1
