     Reverend Marmaduke Joseph Langdale was born on 25 October 1861.1 He was the son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan.1 He died on 17 January 1934 at age 72.1
     He was with the Order of St. Benedict.1

Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale1

     Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale was born on 8 May 1863.2 He was the son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan.2 He married Gertrude Lysley Derriman, daughter of Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman and Caroline Gertrude Lysley, on 18 July 1895.2 He died on 15 April 1950 at age 86.2
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th Hussars.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.3 He lived at Houghton Hall, Sancton, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)3

     Gertrude Lysley Derriman was the daughter of Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman and Caroline Gertrude Lysley.1 She married Colonel Philip Joseph Langdale, son of Charles Joseph Langdale and Henrietta Grattan, on 18 July 1895.1 She died on 15 November 1939.1
     Her married name became Langdale.

     Admiral Samuel Hoskins Derriman married Caroline Gertrude Lysley, daughter of William John Lysley and Caroline Marshall, in 1865.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.

     Major Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. was born on 28 November 1846.1 He was the son of William Joseph Vavasour and Hon. Mary Constantia Clifford.1 He married Mary Teresa Weld, daughter of Edward Joseph Weld and Ellen Caroline Wrey, on 5 October 1870.1 He died on 18 November 1915 at age 68.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Yorkshire Hussars, and served in the Papal Zouaves.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Vavasour, of Hazlewood, co. York. [U.K., 1828] on 23 August 1885.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.1

     In 1870 served Papal Zouaves in unsuccessful defence of Rome against forces of Italian nationalism.1
