     Thomas Hamilton Weldon was born on 7 July 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Anthony Crossdill Weldon, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Caroline Thomasina Kennedy.2 He died on 1 November 1903 at age 39, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Sub Miners, Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Leinster Regiment.1
