Sir Anthony Crossdill Weldon, 5th Bt. was born on 16 March 1827.2 He was the son of Sir Anthony Weldon, 4th Bt. and Harriett Hockeley.3 He married Elizabeth Caroline Thomasina Kennedy, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Kennedy and Mabella Hill, on 12 June 1862 at St. John's Church, Paddington, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 14 January 1900 at age 72 at Kilmorony, County Kildare, IrelandG.3
He was commissioned in 1843, in the service of the Madras Army.3 He retired from the military in 1854, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the Madras Army.3 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Burdett, of Dunmore, co. Carlow [I., 1723] on 21 December 1858.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Queen's County in 1861.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He lived at Kilmorony, County Kildare, IrelandG.2 He lived at Rahinderry, County Laois, IrelandG.2
