     Edward Montague Earle Welby was born on 12 November 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir Glynne Earle Welby-Gregory, 3rd Bt. and Frances Cholmeley.² He married Sarah Elizabeth Everard, daughter of Robert Everard, on 3 February 1870.¹ He died on 25 January 1926 at age 89.¹
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.¹ He was a practising barrister.² He held the office of Stipendiary Magistrate of Sheffield between 1874 and 1915.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Everard was the daughter of Robert Everard.² She married Edward Montague Earle Welby, son of Sir Glynne Earle Welby-Gregory, 3rd Bt. and Frances Cholmeley, on 3 February 1870.¹ She died on 25 February 1909.¹
     From 3 February 1870, her married name became Welby.

     Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard was born on 22 December 1870.¹ He was the son of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard.² He married Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert, daughter of Reverend George W. Herbert, on 27 June 1899.¹ He died on 20 July 1951 at age 80.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was given the name of Edward Everard Earle Welby at birth.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1893 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ On 6 April 1894 his name was legally changed to Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard by Royal Licence.² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1896 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1929 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1935.¹ He lived at Gosberton House, Spalding, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert was the daughter of Reverend George W. Herbert.² She married Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard, son of Edward Montague Earle Welby and Sarah Elizabeth Everard, on 27 June 1899.¹ She died on 2 June 1946.¹
     From 27 June 1899, her married name became Welby-Everard.

     Captain Philip Herbert Earle Welby-Everard was born on 7 May 1902.¹ He was the son of Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard and Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert.² He married Lilla Anna Maree Castell Spence, daughter of Magnus Spence, on 24 July 1928.¹ He died in 1985.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire in 1956.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1957.¹ He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1972.²

     Lilla Anna Maree Castell Spence was the daughter of Magnus Spence.² She married Captain Philip Herbert Earle Welby-Everard, son of Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard and Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert, on 24 July 1928.¹ She died on 13 December 1999.
     From 24 July 1928, her married name became Welby-Everard. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Glynne Earle Welby-Everard was born on 10 July 1935.¹ He was the son of Captain Philip Herbert Earle Welby-Everard and Lilla Anna Maree Castell Spence.² He married Jan Plaisette Stroud, daughter of Milton Lee Stroud, on 26 October 1963.¹ He died in 1990.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹
