     Joan Mary Haden Laffey was the daughter of Major Thomas Patrick Laffey.² She married Sir Joseph George Davidson Ward, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Cyril Rupert Joseph Ward, 2nd Bt. and Elinor Angela Davidson, on 10 June 1944.¹ She died on 13 January 1993.¹
     She gained the rank of officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.¹ From 10 June 1944, her married name became Ward.

     He graduated from Canterbury University College, Christchurch, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the New Zealand Army Reserve.¹ He was an engineer with Phillips Australia and Telsta Australia before 2002.¹ He lived in 2003 at Berrima Drive and Old Mawdanar Road, Berrima, New South Wales, Australia.¹

     Faye Mary Morrison is the daughter of John Morrison.² She married Roderic Anthony Ward, son of Sir Joseph George Davidson Ward, 3rd Bt. and Joan Mary Haden Laffey, on 2 April 1993.¹
     From 2 April 1993, her married name became Ward.

     Michael John Ward was born on 13 April 1954.¹ He is the son of Sir Joseph George Davidson Ward, 3rd Bt. and Joan Mary Haden Laffey.² He married Alamein Sharlene Connelly in 1977.¹
