Admiral William Norton-Taylor was born on 24 October 1798 at Flushing, Cornwall, England.1 He was the son of Captain Andrew Bracey Taylor and Mary Mitchell.1 He was baptised on 29 November 1798 at Mylor, Cornwall, England.1 He married, secondly, Caroline Emma Taylor.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Tozer Leeder.1 He died on 18 April 1888 at age 89 at Margate, Kent, England.1
He was given the name of William Norton Taylor at birth. He fought in the Siege of Copenhagen in 1807.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) in 1874.2
