Sir Wilfrid Forbes Home Thomson, 1st Bt. was born on 29 March 1858.2 He was the son of Most Reverend William Thomson and Zoë Skene.2 He married Ethel Henrietta Parker, daughter of Hon. Reginald Parker and Katharine May Ames, on 1 June 1899.2 He died on 29 January 1939 at age 80.
He was partner of Beckett and Co, bankers at York, Yorkshire, England.2 Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.2 He was created 1st Baronet Thomson, of Old Nunthorpe, co. York [U.K.] on 3 July 1925.1

Sir Basil Home Thomson was born on 21 April 1861.1 He was the son of Most Reverend William Thomson and Zoë Skene.2 He married Grace Indja Webber, daughter of Felix Stanley Webber, on 31 October 1889.1 He died on 26 March 1939 at age 77.1
He held the office of Stipendiary Magistrate [Fiji] in 1884.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was Acting Native Commissioner of Fiji in 1889.1 He was Governor of Dartmoor and Wormwood Scrubs Prisons between 1896 and 1908.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London.1 He was Secretary of the Prison Commission between 1908 and 1913.1 He wrote the book The Story of Scotland Yard.1 He was Assistant Commissioner of Metropolitan Police between 1913 and 1921.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He wrote the book The Scene Changes.1
