Major Ashton Lovett Tennyson-d'Eyncourt was born on 14 December 1860.1 He was the son of Louis Charles Tennyson-d'Eyncourt and Sophia Yates.2 He married Edith Hartwell, daughter of Sir Francis Houlton Hartwell, 3rd Bt. and Emma Jane Dymoke, on 26 October 1922.1 He died on 30 August 1926 at age 65, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.1

Sir Eustace Henry William Tennyson-d'Eyncourt, 1st Bt. was born on 1 April 1868.1 He was the son of Louis Charles Tennyson-d'Eyncourt and Sophia Yates.2 He married Janet Watson Findlay, daughter of Matthew Watson Findlay, on 20 July 1898.1 He died on 1 February 1951 at age 82.1
He was Director of Naval Construction, Admiralty between 1912 and 1923.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1915.1 He was Head of the Admiralty Committee producing the first tank in 1916.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1917.1 He was Vice-President of the Tank Board in 1918.1 He was Vice-President of the Institute of Naval Architects.1 He was director of Armstrong Whitworth between 1924 and 1927.1 He was director of Parsons Marine Turbine Company in 1925.1 He was created 1st Baronet Tennyson-d'Eyncourt, of Carter's Corner Farm, in the parish of Hurstmonceaux, co. Sussex [U.K.] on 3 February 1930.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1
