John Vavasour was the son of Henry Vavasour and Elizabeth Everingham.2 He married Anne Scrope, daughter of Henry Scrope, 6th Lord Scrope of Bolton and Lady Elizabeth Percy.1 He died on 11 August 1524.1

John Vavasour was born in 1538.1 He was the son of Sir William Vavasour and Elizabeth Cavalay.2 He married Eleanor Fairfax, daughter of Sir Nicholas Fairfax.1 He died in 1609, without issue.1
