     Clara Mabel Gully was born in 1877 at Colchester, Essex, England. She was the daughter of Major Samuel Martin Gully and Bessie Clara Impey-Lovibond.² She married Lt.-Col. Clifford Reginald Templeman Annesley, son of Lt.-Col. Reginald Carey Annesley and Mary Frances Burnard Mew, on 3 October 1907.¹ She died on 20 April 1954.¹
     From 3 October 1907, her married name became Annesley.

     Reginald Clifford Martin Annesley was born on 8 March 1909.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Clifford Reginald Templeman Annesley and Clara Mabel Gully.² He married Ann Isabella Strachan, daughter of John Robert Strachan, on 4 November 1940.¹ He died in 1994.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He was with the British South Africa Police.¹
