     He was Lieutenant of the Gentlemen Pensioners.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)2

     Anne Leigh was the daughter of Sir John Leigh and Elizabeth Darcy.1,2 She married, secondly, Edward FitzGerald, son of Gerald FitzGerald, 9th Earl of Kildare and Lady Elizabeth Grey.1 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Paston in 1544.1
     Her married name became Paston.1 Her married name became FitzGerald.1

     Sir John Leigh was born in 1502.2 He was the son of Ralph Leigh and Joyce Culpeper.2 He married Elizabeth Darcy, daughter of Sir Roger Darcy.2 He died in 1566.2
     He held the office of Sheriff of Surrey and Sussex.2 He lived at Stockwell, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight in 1553.2

     Gerald FitzGerald, 14th Earl of Kildare was the son of Edward FitzGerald and Anne Leigh.1 He married Elizabeth Nugent, daughter of Christopher Nugent, 5th Baron Delvin and Lady Mary FitzGerald, after 1600.1 He died on 11 February 1611/12.1
     He was appointed Knight in 1599.1 He succeeded as the 14th Earl of Kildare [I., 1316] in April 1599.1 He held the office of Governor of Offaly in 1600.1 He was Commissioner of Connaught in 1604.1

     After her marriage, Elizabeth Nugent was styled as Countess of Kildare after 1600. From after 1600, her married name became FitzGerald.1

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Kenelm Digby was born on 19 May 1879 at Kensington, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Sir Kenelm Edward Digby and Hon. Caroline Strutt.1 He married Violet Mary Keatinge, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sherbrooke Augustus John Keatinge, on 22 February 1911.1 He died on 7 October 1966 at age 87 at Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England, without issue.1,2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1903 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1941.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1961.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1961.1
