     Frances Fremantle was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Fitzroy William Fremantle and Julia Elizabeth Henrietta Campbell.1 She married Maj.-Gen. George Handcock Thesiger, son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Wemyss Thesiger and Charlotte Elizabeth Handcock, on 9 January 1902.2 She died on 25 September 1950.2
     Her married name became Thesiger.

     Maj.-Gen. George Handcock Thesiger was born on 6 October 1868.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Wemyss Thesiger and Charlotte Elizabeth Handcock.2 He married Frances Fremantle, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Fitzroy William Fremantle and Julia Elizabeth Henrietta Campbell, on 9 January 1902.1 He died on 27 September 1915 at age 46, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, where he was severely wounded and mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Rifle Brigade.1 He was Inspector-General of the King's African Rifles between 1909 and 1913.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1915, where he was metnioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major-General in 1915.1

Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Wemyss Thesiger1

     Lt.-Gen. Hon. Charles Wemyss Thesiger was born on 12 October 1831.2 He was the son of Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling.2 He married Charlotte Elizabeth Handcock, daughter of Hon. George Handcock and Elizabeth Alicia French, on 23 April 1863.1 He died on 29 July 1903 at age 71.2
     He was Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland in 1858.2 He fought in the China War in 1860.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Curragh Brigade.2 He was Inspector of Yeomanry Cavalry between 1878 and 1883.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 14th Hussars.2 He was Inspector-General of Cavalry in Ireland between 1885 and 1890.2

     Hon. George Handcock was born in 1801.1 He was the son of Richard Handcock, 2nd Baron Castlemaine of Moydrum and Anne French.2 He married Elizabeth Alicia French, daughter of Robert Henry French and Charlotte Reynell, on 16 February 1833.1 He died on 20 October 1867.1

     Henry Edward Preston was born on 13 July 1857. He was the son of Captain Thomas Henry Preston and Georgina Geneviève Louisa Campbell. He married Beatrice Mary Thomson, daughter of Most Reverend William Thomson and Zoë Skene, in April 1886.1 He died on 5 June 1924 at age 66.1
     He lived at Moreby Park, Yorkshire, England.1
