     Sir James Steuart of Coltness was born posthumously in 1608.¹ He was the son of James Steuart of Allanton, younger and Marion Carmichael.^1,2 He married, firstly, Anne Hope, daughter of Henry Hope, in 1630.³ He married, secondly, Marion McCulloch, daughter of David McCulloch, in 1648.¹ He died on 31 March 1681.¹
     He held the office of Lord Provost of Edinburgh in 1649.¹ He held the office of Lord Provost of Edinburgh in 1659.¹

     Hon. Frances Charlotte FitzGerald-de Ros was born circa 1830. She was the daughter of General William Lennox Lascelles FitzGerald-de Ros, 22nd Lord de Ros of Helmsley and Lady Georgiana Lennox.¹ She died on 21 February 1851.¹

     Florence Frances Augusta Campbell was the daughter of Captain Frederick Augustus Campbell and Emma Mary Brabazon.² She married William Henry Dudley Ryder, son of Dudley Henry Ryder and Georgiana Emily Calcraft, on 1 July 1903.¹ She died on 6 August 1930.¹
     Her married name became Ryder.

     Captain George Cecil Colville was born on 9 September 1903.¹ He was the son of Admiral Hon. Sir Stanley Cecil James Colville and Lady Adelaide Jane Meade.¹ He married Gabrielle Palmer, daughter of General Sir Arthur Power Palmer, on 19 September 1935.¹ He died on 18 August 1983 at age 79.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HMQueen Elizabeth II in 1953.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1953.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of South Africa.¹

     Margaret Edith Abraham was born circa 1871 at Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.² She was the daughter of George Whitley Abraham.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Harold John Tennant, son of Sir Charles Clow Tennant of The Glen, 1st Bt. and Emma Winsloe, on 8 July 1896.³ She died on 11 July 1946.¹
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ Her married name became Tennant. She was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1917.¹

     Dudley Henry Ryder was born on 7 February 1830.¹ He was the son of Hon. Granville Dudley Ryder and Lady Georgiana Augusta Somerset.¹ He married Georgiana Emily Calcraft, daughter of John Hales Calcraft and Lady Caroline Catherine Montagu, on 1 December 1857.¹ He died on 8 September 1911 at age 81.¹
     He lived at Westbrook Hay, Bovingdon, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Pamela Francis Campbell-Brabazon was born in 1903.² She is the daughter of General John St. Clair Campbell-Brabazon and Caroline Leavett.³ She married, firstly, Francis Baer in 1921.¹ She and Francis Baer were divorced in 1930.¹ She married, secondly, F/Lt. Herbert Jeffrey Brookman in 1931.¹ She married, thirdly, Robert Walter Guy Grindlay in 1937.¹ She and Robert Walter Guy Grindlay were divorced in 1956.¹
     From 1921, her married name became Baer.¹ From 1931, her married name became Brookman. From 1937, her married name became Grindlay.

     Mark Campbell Dudley Ryder was born on 11 July 1963.¹ He is the son of Richard Peter Guy Dudley Ryder and Angela Joan Melotti.¹

     Lady Violet Ella Finch was the daughter of Major Charles Wightwick Finch, 8th Earl of Aylesford and Marcella Araminta Victoria Ross.¹ She married Major Eustace Crawley, son of George Baden Crawley and Eliza Inez Hulbert, on 14 December 1904.¹ She died on 26 February 1960, without issue.¹
     From 14 December 1904, her married name became Crawley.¹
