Gilbert William Sutton was born on 15 May 1858.1 He was the son of Reverend Augustus Sutton and Charlotte Robina Carter.2 He was baptised on 27 June 1858 at West Tofts, Norfolk, England.3 He married Mabel Affleck Peacock, daughter of Reverend John Peacock, on 14 October 1890.1 He died on 23 November 1929 at age 71.1

Commander John Gilbert Sutton was born on 13 January 1892.1 He was the son of Gilbert William Sutton and Mabel Affleck Peacock.2 He married, firstly, Eva Maud Cook, daughter of Thomas Cook, on 12 September 1918.1 He married, secondly, Ida Margaret Halls, daughter of Charles Halls, on 7 August 1920.1 He and Ida Margaret Halls were divorced in 1940.1 He married, thirdly, Katherine Balfour-Kinnear, daughter of George Balfour-Kinnear, on 16 November 1940.1 He and Katherine Balfour-Kinnear were divorced in 1950.1 He married, fourthly, Violet Godwin, daughter of Herbert James Godwin, on 2 December 1950.1 He died in 1982.1
