     Reverend Orlando Spencer Smith was born on 17 December 1843.1 He was the son of Spencer Smith and Frances Anne Seymour.2 He married Theodosia England, daughter of General Sir Richard England and Theodosia Fountayne-Wilson, on 27 April 1876.1 He died on 23 November 1920 at age 76.1
     He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector at Swyre, England.1

     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1
