     Richard Southby was born on 19 June 1838.1 He was the son of Richard Southby and Anna Maria Judd.2 He married Hon. Isabella Hewitt, daughter of James Hewitt, 4th Viscount Lifford and Lady Mary Acheson, on 7 January 1879.1 He died on 11 December 1921 at age 83.1
     He lived at Chieveley, Berkshire, England.1
