Maria Diana Bourchier1

     Maria Diana Bourchier was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. James Claud Bourchier.2 She married Reverend William James Stracey-Clitherow, son of John Stracey and Emma Elizabeth Clitherow, on 8 August 1849.1 She died on 9 February 1902.1
     From 8 August 1849, her married name became Stracey. From 27 October 1900, her married name became Stracey-Clitherow.

     John Bourchier Stracey was born on 31 May 1853.1 He was the son of Reverend William James Stracey-Clitherow and Maria Diana Bourchier.2 He married Alice Marie Prinsep, daughter of Sir Henry Thoby Prinsep and Sarah Monckton Pattle, in 1897 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,3 He died on 28 June 1931 at age 78, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the East Riding Yeomanry and 2nd Battalion, Welsh Guards.2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding, Yorkshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1

     Elizabeth Moore is the daughter of Edward Moore.1 She married John Lysaght, 1st Baron Lisle of Mountnorth, son of Colonel Nicholas Lysaght and Grace Holmes, in 1746.1
     From 1746, her married name became Lysaght.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Moore was styled as Baroness Lisle of Mountnorth on 18 February 1758.

     Commander Christopher Bryan Stracey-Clitherow was born on 22 July 1903.1 He was the son of Commander Eustace William Clitherow Stracey-Clitherow and Frances Evelyn Veronica Stansfield.2 He married Maida Daughne Laurel Butler, daughter of Hon. Francis Almeric Butler and Madeline Gibbs, on 26 November 1928.1 He died in 1977.3
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
