     Agnes Stirling was born on 7 October 1872 at Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.^1,2 She was the daughter of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling.³ She married Colonel Guy Charles Ashworth, son of Frederick Charles Ashworth, on 5 December 1904.¹ She died on 13 February 1966 at age 93.¹
     From 5 December 1904, her married name became Ashworth.

     Frederick Charles Ashworth lived at Boldre, Hampshire, England.¹

     Colonel Guy Charles Ashworth was the son of Frederick Charles Ashworth.² He married Agnes Stirling, daughter of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling, on 5 December 1904.¹ He died on 21 May 1942.³
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the South Lancashire Regiment.¹

     Mary Olive Stirling was born on 11 October 1878 at East Indies.^1,2 She was the daughter of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling.³ She died on 27 December 1963 at age 85, unmarried.¹
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1934.¹

     Frances Graham Stirling was born on 9 November 1881.² She was the daughter of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling.³ She married Brig.-Gen. Reginald Francis Arthur Hobbs, son of Simpson Hackett Hobbs, on 29 August 1906.¹ She died on 5 July 1964 at age 82.¹
     From 29 August 1906, her married name became Hobbs.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Reginald Francis Arthur Hobbs was the son of Simpson Hackett Hobbs.¹ He married Frances Graham Stirling, daughter of General Sir William Stirling and Anna Christian Stirling, on 29 August 1906.¹ He died on 10 July 1953.
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He had three sons (two killed in the Second World War.¹ )

     Captain Francis Stirling was born on 1 April 1839.¹ He was the son of Charles Stirling, 1st of Muiravonside and Charlotte Dorothea Stirling.² He married May Caroline Francis, daughter of Colonel Peregrine M. Francis, on 20 September 1871.¹ He died in February 1880 at age 40, lost at sea while commanding H.M.S. Atalanta which disappeared in a storm.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Colonel Peregrine M. Francis gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹

     May Caroline Francis is the daughter of Colonel Peregrine M. Francis.² She married Captain Francis Stirling, son of Charles Stirling, 1st of Muiravonside and Charlotte Dorothea Stirling, on 20 September 1871.¹
     From 20 September 1871, her married name became Stirling.
