Anthony Crommelin Crossley was born on 13 August 1903.1 He was the son of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field.2 He married Clare Frances Fortescue Thomson, daughter of Brigadier Alan Fortescue Thomson, on 7 February 1927.1 He died on 15 August 1939 at age 36, killed in an aeroplane accident off the coast of Denmark.
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Shropshire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oldham between 1931 and 1935.1 He held the office of Parliamentary Privatre Secretary between 1932 and 1939, to the Minister of Transport.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stretford between 1935 and 1939.1

Clare Frances Fortescue Thomson was born circa 1907.2 She was the daughter of Brigadier Alan Fortescue Thomson.3 She married Anthony Crommelin Crossley, son of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field, on 7 February 1927.1 She died on 16 October 2002.2

Otway Scarlett Graham-Toler was born in 1886.1 He was the son of Captain Hector Robert Graham-Toler and Alice Steer.1 He married Mona Marion Low, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Maxwell Low, on 5 July 1923.1 He died on 18 November 1941, without issue.1

Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 February 1877.2 He was the son of Sir William John Crossley, 1st Bt. and Mabel Gordon Anderson.1 He married, firstly, Florence Josephine Field, daughter of Joseph Nash Field, on 25 June 1901.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Joyce Shenton, daughter of Enoch Shenton, on 16 December 1954.2 He died on 22 November 1957 at age 80.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Crossley, of Glenfield, Dunham Massey, co. Chester [U.K., 1909] on 12 October 1911.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1919.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.2
