     Sir Edward Levien Samuel, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 April 1862.1 He was the son of Sir Saul Samuel, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Matilda Levien.2 He married Ray Cowan, daughter of Abraham Cowan, on 30 September 1891.1 He died on 24 November 1937 at age 75.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Samuel, of Nevern Square [U.K., 1898] on 29 August 1900.1

     Ray Cowan was the daughter of Abraham Cowan.2 She married Sir Edward Levien Samuel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Saul Samuel, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Matilda Levien, on 30 September 1891.1 She died on 26 February 1958.1
     From 30 September 1891, her married name became Samuel.

     Sir Edward Louis Samuel, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 November 1896.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Levien Samuel, 2nd Bt. and Ray Cowan.2 He died on 25 April 1961 at age 64, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Samuel, of Nevern Square [U.K., 1898] on 24 November 1937.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Bursar of Prince of Wales's Endowment Fund of Toc House.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Vera Leah Henrietta Samuel1

     Vera Leah Henrietta Samuel was the daughter of Sir Edward Levien Samuel, 2nd Bt. and Ray Cowan.2 She married Geoffrey Noel Hillier-Holt, son of Hillier Holt, on 24 September 1925.1 She died in January 1987.3
     From 24 September 1925, her married name became Holt. From 1930, her married name became Hillier-Holt.1
