     He was given the name of Hugh Francis Wyldbore Smith at birth.1 In 1903 his name was legally changed to Hugh Francis Wyldbore Wyldbore-Smith by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Broadstone, Dorset, England.1

     From 19 November 1903, her married name became Wyldbore-Smith.

Lt.-Cdr. Hugh Deane Wyldbore-Smith1

     Lt.-Cdr. Hugh Deane Wyldbore-Smith was born on 15 February 1907.1 He was the son of Captain Hugh Francis Wyldbore Wyldbore-Smith and Kate Beatrice Deane.2 He married Rachel Caroline Lucy Orlebar, daughter of Reverend Edward Yarde Orlebar and Lucy Eleanor Thornton, on 5 June 1937.1 He died on 24 May 1941 at age 34, killed in action on H.M.S. Hood.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy, Fleet Signals and Wireless Officer East Indies Station.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Harry Godfrey Thornton and Lucy Jemima Pym, on 7 May 1902 at St. John the Evangelist, Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire, England.2 He died on 16 July 1949 at age 76 at Husborne Cralwey, Bedfordshire, England.2
     He lived at Crawley Park, Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, England.1
