Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw-Mackenzie of Tordarroch and 4th of Newhall was born in May 1831.1 He is the son of Alexander Nesbitt Shaw and Georgiana Hodson.2 He married Ellen Eliza Ramsay, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Skardon Ramsay and Mary Ann Alexander, in 1852.1 He died on 18 August 1904 at age 73.1
He held the position of 13th Chief of the Clan Ay from.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ross and Cromarty.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ross and Cromarty.1 He was also known as Charles Forbes Hodson Shaw.1 He held the position of 18th Chief of the Clan Shaw from.1 He was with Bombay Civil Service in 1850.1 He held the office of Judge [Bombay] between 1862 and 1885.1
