Alexander Seton, 13th of Meldrum was the son of William Seton of Meldrum and Elizabeth Leslie.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Gordon, daughter of Patrick Gordon of Methlic and Haddo.2 He married, secondly, Janet Leith, daughter of George Leith, 7th of Barnis.2 He was murdered circa 1526 by John Forbes, Master of Forbes, murdered by the Master of Forbes.1
