     Marygold Elizabeth Congreve was born on 14 August 1926. She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt. and Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen. She married Major Ian Stafford Alexander on 5 May 1953. She died on 27 May 2007 at age 80 at St. Luke's Hospital, MaltaG.1
     Her married name became Alexander.

     John Horatio Gordon Shephard was born on 12 August 1921.1 He was the son of Harold Shephard.2 He married, firstly, Carola Congreve, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt. and Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen, on 29 June 1948. He and Carola Congreve were divorced in 1959. He married, secondly, Hon. Belinda Anne Renwick, daughter of Robert Burnham Renwick, 1st Baron Renwick and Dorothy Mary Parkes, on 19 March 1959.3 He died on 18 December 1993 at age 72.3,1
     John Horatio Gordon Shephard also went by the nick-name of Rae.3

     Arthur Lyulph Stanley, 5th Baron Sheffield was born on 14 September 1875.1 He was the son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell.1 He married Margaret Evelyn Gordon, daughter of Henry Evans Gordon and Mary Theodosia Sartoris, on 29 August 1905.1 He died on 22 August 1931 at age 55.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Anglesey Royal Engineers Militia.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Cheshire Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Anglesey.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cheshire.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1902 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Mary Katherine Bell was the daughter of Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Pattinson. She married Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield, son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee, on 6 February 1873.1 She died on 4 January 1929.1
     Her married name became Stanley. After her marriage, Mary Katherine Bell was styled as Baroness Stanley of Alderley on 10 December 1903. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1

Lt.-Col. Hon. Oliver Hugh Stanley1

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Oliver Hugh Stanley was born on 23 October 1879.2 He was the son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell.2 He married Lady Alice Kathleen Violet Thynne, daughter of Thomas Henry Thynne, 5th Marquess of Bath and Violet Caroline Mordaunt, on 8 July 1919.1 He died on 13 February 1952 at age 72.2
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches three times.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Anglesey.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Anglesey.2

     Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield was born on 16 May 1839.1 He was the son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee.2,1 He married Mary Katherine Bell, daughter of Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Pattinson, on 6 February 1873.1 He died on 18 March 1925 at age 85.1

     Margaret Evelyn Gordon was born in 1875 at Hampshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Evans Gordon and Mary Theodosia Sartoris.2,1 She married Arthur Lyulph Stanley, 5th Baron Sheffield, son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell, on 29 August 1905.2 She died on 12 April 1964.2
     Her married name became Stanley. She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)2 After her marriage, Margaret Evelyn Gordon was styled as Baroness Stanley of Alderley on 18 March 1925.
