     Bertram Foster Roberts was born on 4 January 1876.1 He was the son of Sir James Roberts, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Foster.2 He married Eliza Gertrude Denby, daughter of Sir Ellis Denby, on 22 April 1903.1 He died on 11 January 1912 at age 36.1

     Eliza Gertrude Denby was the daughter of Sir Ellis Denby.2 She married Bertram Foster Roberts, son of Sir James Roberts, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Foster, on 22 April 1903.1 She died in April 1953.1
     From 22 April 1903, her married name became Roberts.

Sir James Denby Roberts, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir James Denby Roberts, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 June 1904.2 He is the son of Bertram Foster Roberts and Eliza Gertrude Denby.2 He married Irene Charlotte D'Orsey Dunn, daughter of William Dunn, on 20 September 1927.2 He died on 10 July 1973 at age 69.2
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.2 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Roberts, of Milner Field, Bingley, co. York [U.K., 1909] on 31 December 1935.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire in 1942.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1959.2
