Sir Geoffrey palmer, 1st Bt. 2
     Sir Geoffrey Palmer, 1st Bt. was born in 1598.1 He was the son of Thomas Palmer and Catherine Watson.3 He married Margaret Moore, daughter of Sir Francis Moore, in 1625.1 He died on 5 May 1670.1
     They also had other issue.1 He was the Royalist Commissioner of Uxbridge negotiations towards the end of the Civil War in 1645.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford between 1649 and 1652.1 He was the Attorney-General between 1660 and 1670.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor.1 He was created 1st Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, Co. Northampton [E., 1660] on 7 June 1660.1 He was Chief of Justice in 1661/62 at Chester, Cheshire, England.1 He lived at Carlton, Northamptonshire, England.1

Sir Lewis Palmer, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Lewis Palmer, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Geoffrey Palmer, 1st Bt. and Margaret Moore.2 He married, firstly, Jane Palmer, daughter of Robert Palmer, in 1654.1 He married Frances (?)1 He died in 1714.1
     They also had four daughters.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Higham Ferrers between 1661 and 1697.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, Co. Northampton [E., 1660] on 5 May 1670.1

     Sir Geoffrey Palmer, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 June 1655.1 He was the son of Sir Lewis Palmer, 2nd Bt. and Jane Palmer.2 He married Elizabeth Grantham, daughter of Thomas Grantham and Frances Wentworth.1 He died on 29 December 1732 at age 77, without issue.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1707 and 1722.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, Co. Northampton [E., 1660] in 1714.1
