Lt.-Col. Charles Francis Rivett-Carnac was born on 28 February 1909.1 He was the son of Charles James Rivett-Carnac and Frances Clytie Greenstock.2 He married Lorna Darling, daughter of B. Darling, on 24 February 1936.1 He died on 6 July 1958 at age 49.1
He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.1
