     Elizabeth Harriet May Riddell was born on 20 February 1879.¹ She was the daughter of James Riddell and Harriet Anne Stephen.² She married Major Stanley Allison Hughes on 31 August 1907.¹ She died on 25 May 1946 at age 67.¹
     From 31 August 1907, her married name became Hughes.

     He gained the rank of Major in the 13th Royal Sussex Regiment.¹

     Annie Venetia Riddell was born on 30 November 1884.¹ She was the daughter of James Riddell and Harriet Anne Stephen.² She married William H. C. Geikie, son of Professor James Geikie, on 17 February 1912.¹ She died on 31 January 1970 at age 85.¹
     From 17 February 1912, her married name became Geikie.

     Professor James Geikie graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     William H. C. Geikie was the son of Professor James Geikie.² He married Annie Venetia Riddell, daughter of James Riddell and Harriet Anne Stephen, on 17 February 1912.¹ He died in 1965.¹

     Reverend James Riddell was born on 28 April 1796.¹ He was the son of Henry Riddell and Anne Glassford.² He married Dorothy Foster, daughter of John Foster, on 15 January 1822.¹ He died on 13 May 1878 at age 82, with other issue:.¹
     He was Vicar at Tutbury, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Dorothy Foster was the daughter of John Foster.¹ She married Reverend James Riddell, son of Henry Riddell and Anne Glassford, on 15 January 1822.¹ She died in 1886.¹
     From 15 January 1822, her married name became Riddell.

     John Riddell was born on 7 June 1838.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Riddell and Dorothy Foster.² He married, firstly, Jane Peppercorn, daughter of William Peppercorn, on 15 November 1860.¹ He married, secondly, Gertrude Julia Smith, daughter of Reverend Richard Smith, in 1885.¹ He died in 1893.¹
