     Frances Elizabeth Deacon was the daughter of John Deacon.² She married Arthur Charles Ramsden, son of Reverend William Ramsden and Elizabeth Jane Bell, on 21 January 1853.¹ She died on 24 October 1892.¹
     From 21 January 1853, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Arthur John Ramsden was born on 10 June 1855.¹ He was the son of Arthur Charles Ramsden and Frances Elizabeth Deacon.² He married Elizabeth Alice Hawkins, daughter of H W Hawkins, on 26 April 1883.¹ He died on 15 November 1918 at age 63.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹

     Elizabeth Alice Hawkins was the daughter of H W Hawkins.² She married Arthur John Ramsden, son of Arthur Charles Ramsden and Frances Elizabeth Deacon, on 26 April 1883.¹ She died in 1943.¹
     From 26 April 1883, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Arthur Geoffrey Francis Ramsden was born on 13 August 1887.¹ He was the son of Arthur John Ramsden and Elizabeth Alice Hawkins.² He married Winifred Cowan, daughter of S. B. Cowan, on 23 February 1918.¹ He died on 27 March 1945 at age 57.¹
     He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Cornwall and Devon Miners Royal Garrison Army.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He fought in the Second World War, he was invalided.¹

     S. B. Cowan graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     Winifred Cowan was the daughter of S. B. Cowan.² She married Arthur Geoffrey Francis Ramsden, son of Arthur John Ramsden and Elizabeth Alice Hawkins, on 23 February 1918.¹ She died in 1958.¹
     From 23 February 1918, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Geoffrey Anthony Frescheville Ramsden was born on 24 July 1919.¹ He was the son of Arthur Geoffrey Francis Ramsden and Winifred Cowan.² He married Pamela Barnes on 26 January 1952.¹ He died in November 1997 at age 78 at Lambeth, London, England.³
     He fought in the Second World War, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Hampshire Regiment.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate in Dental Surgery.¹

     Pamela Barnes married Geoffrey Anthony Frescheville Ramsden, son of Arthur Geoffrey Francis Ramsden and Winifred Cowan, on 26 January 1952.¹
     From 26 January 1952, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Peter Derek Frescheville Ramsden was born on 27 April 1922.¹ He was the son of Arthur Geoffrey Francis Ramsden and Winifred Cowan.² He married Barbara Alexander, daughter of W. S. Alexander, on 16 June 1958.¹ He died in 1993.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant (Air) in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was managing director of Thos Apline Company at Lagos, Nigeria.¹ He lived at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.¹
