     Charles John Lavallin Puxley was born in 1948.¹ He is the son of Major John Philip Lavallin Puxley and Aline Carlos Wilson.¹ He married Sarah Elizabeth Gamon, daughter of Hugh Wynell Gamon and June ELizabeth Temple.¹

     Frances Matilda Plumptre was the daughter of John Plumptre.² She married Robert Ramsden, son of Robert Ramsden and Elizabeth Uppleby, on 29 July 1816.¹ She died on 22 April 1837.¹
     From 29 July 1816, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Robert John Ramsden was born on 12 June 1817.¹ He was the son of Robert Ramsden and Frances Matilda Plumptre.² He married Mary Matilda Gipps, daughter of Reverend Henry Gipps and Emma Maria Plumptre, on 10 December 1844.¹ He died on 20 March 1892 at age 74.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Carlton Hall, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Mary Matilda Gipps was born in 1822.² She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Gipps and Emma Maria Plumptre.^3,1 She married Robert John Ramsden, son of Robert Ramsden and Frances Matilda Plumptre, on 10 December 1844.¹ She died on 4 July 1875 at Nottinghamshire, England.^1,2
     From 10 December 1844, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Robert Henry Ramsden was born on 10 September 1845.¹ He was the son of Robert John Ramsden and Mary Matilda Gipps.² He married Francesca Romana Maria Jebb, daughter of Charles William Jebb and Eliza Yerbury, on 31 May 1871.¹ He died on 19 May 1874 at age 28.¹

     Charles J. Cowley was born in 1825 at Upton, Worcestershire, England.¹ He married Elizabeth Beach in 1846 at Gloucestershire, England.¹

     From 31 May 1871, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     Robert Charles Plumptre Ramsden was born on 9 February 1874.¹ He was the son of Robert Henry Ramsden and Francesca Romana Maria Jebb.² He married Mary Isiline Wetwan, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Albert Wetwan, on 7 December 1934.¹ He died on 20 April 1964 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1895 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1895 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1901 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was chairman of the Nottinghamshire Quarter Sessions between 1939 and 1943.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.¹
